Concert coming for HN Alzheimer’s Society June 12

To The Haldimand Press

SIMCOE—Norfolk’s Shout Sister! choir is making a “joyful noise” for Music for Memory on June 12, 2019. Heather Brown directs as the choir continues Shout Sister’s tradition of giving back to the community.

The Music for Memory concert will take place at St. James United Church, 150 Colborne St. S., Simcoe. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is by donation and all are welcome. Proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Society of Haldimand Norfolk, who support people with dementia, their caregivers, and those at risk of developing dementia. In Haldimand Norfolk, there are over 2,200 people living with dementia and that number is expected to grow by 16% over the next five years. Locally, the society has offices at Hazel Place (Simcoe), the Haldimand Abilities Centre (Hagersville), and just beginning this month, Grandview Lodge (Dunnville).
