To The Haldimand Press
RAINHAM—It is clear that spring has arrived, even though it has been slow to start. The signs of spring can be heard singing in the early morning, flying with bits of straw held in their beaks. Other signs are daffodils, hyacinths, and crocuses blooming. And of course, the motorcyclists are out enjoying the scenery and the fresh air. Now for the members of the Canadian Drilling Rig Museum, the annual meeting is a sign of spring’s arrival.
On April 18, 2019 the annual meeting and Story Night was held at the Mennonite Church. It was decided at the meeting that the museum will participate in the Haldimand Antique Tour, which will take place on May 18, 19, and 20. The museum has many antiques, including a Canadian Drilling Rig. The members will be on site to answer questions and to help visitors make the most of the stop.
