CAYUGA—Shown in the surrounding photos are drawings made by the Grade 4 students that visited Taquanyah Nature Reserve on May 22, 2019 for the fifth annual Haldimand Children’s Water Festival.
The students were asked to take what they learned during the water festival as inspiration for their drawing. Some drew reasons as to why water is important to them or the world; some drew ways to help protect waterways and keep water clean; and others drew ways to reduce their water consumption. —Submitted photos.
