CALEDONIA—Sienna Rose Kocsis is busy preparing for the upcoming Rising Star Talent Competition at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in Toronto.

She has a list of accomplishments that include being the official national anthem singer for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for the 2017/18 season, regularly performing the anthem for the Hamilton Bulldogs, and first place wins in three categories at a recent music festival. She also graced The Great One himself, Wayne Gretzky, with a performance at a dinner event in his honour. This list of accomplishments is all the more impressive when considering this rising talent’s age. At 12 years old, Sienna is already a seasoned performer.

“It’s a very proud moment being able to sing in front of tens of thousands of people and hearing the crowd cheering makes me feel very honoured and excited to be able to sing the anthem,” states Sienna.
