Driving charges up from 2018

HALDIMAND—Haldimand OPP is committed to traffic safety on their roadways throughout Haldimand County.

Statistics compiled at the end of June 2019 indicate charges for speeding, seatbelts, distracted driving, and impaired driving are 24% higher than the same time period in 2018.

These categories, commonly referred to by the OPP as “the Big 4”, are the leading causal factors in motor vehicle collisions.
