DESCRIPTION:The Middleport Heritage Society is honoured to be hosting this year’s Veterans’ Tribute on November 9 at the Onondaga Hall. We will be featuring the story of Pte. James Oscar Fearman who lost his life during WWI\, as well as the screening of the award winning documentary\, “We Lend A Hand. The Forgotten Story of the Ontario Farmerettes”. Bonnie Sitter\, co-author of the book Peach Fuzz & Onion Skins\, and documentary Director\, Colin Field\, will be on hand for a Q&A after the film. Tickets are $40 – lunch included!
