FISHERVILLE—The Fisherville Lions’ progressive jackpot was estimated at over $27,400 for the Wednesday Catch the Ace event, which took place after press time. Last week, Suzanne Keast from Hamilton, a Selkirk area cottager, won by pulling the two of spades in envelope 41. Week 11 saw 1,430 tickets sold generating $9,550 in revenue. Keast took home 20%, or $1,910. Meanwhile 30% ($2,865) went to the progressive jackpot for whoever finds the ace of spades, and 50% ($4,775) is earmarked for charity. The total raised for charity as of Week 11 is $40,815. Assuming the ace wasn’t found after press time for Week 12, be sure to visit the Fisherville Tavern next Wednesday between 4:30 to 7:45 p.m. to purchase tickets for Week 13.
