Toby Barrett’s column on long-term care in last week’s Haldimand Press assigns full blame to the previous government for “years of neglect and underfunding”, citing two re- cent reports to government. I read both re- ports, and neither assigned systemic prob- lems to one governing party. It is a tawdry tale, and the subject of many PhD theses, going back decades.
