ONEIDA—The Haldimand Federation of Agriculture (HFA) held its annual summer barbecue on August 18, 2022. Hosted at the Oneida farm of HFA President Henk Lise, Jackie Lise, and their family, the barbecue saw 30 people join them. The event was open to the HFA Board of Directors, their families, local politicians, and other agricultural boards. HFA is planning a Mayoral All Candidates Debate, taking place Tuesday, October 18 at the Haldimand Agriculture Centre, 1084 Kohler Road, Cayuga. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the mayoral debate takes place from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Councillors are welcome to join and have a table set up at the debate to meet with constituents.
