JARVIS—Rain was the story of the day for the Jarvis Town Wide Yard Sale on May 20, 2023. One of the busier locations was the Jarvis Community Church where an indoor sale offered lots of opportunities to find treasures and treats. At left, Ally Janssen and Lisa Kloet had fun browsing. Centre: Jennifer Reu, Joanne MacDougall, and Helen Hoskin took care of sales at the popular bake table. At right, the A.T. Stand – managed by Averi Gowan and Taylor Vokes – was set up for business, offering shoppers a variety of snacks and refreshments. The nine-year-olds plan to donate a portion of their sales to the Jarvis Community Church.   —Haldimand Press photos by Sheila Phibbs.
