DUNNVILLE—A disturbance at a local establishment on Sunday morning is under investigation.
On March 17, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Haldimand OPP received a report of a disturbance at an establishment on Queen Street in Dunnville.
The investigation determined that a large group of patrons were outside of the business when a verbal argument erupted between two unknown males.
The altercation quickly escalated when an edged weapon was brandished. No injuries were reported.
When police arrived, both parties fled the scene on foot. It is believed that one if not both individuals entered a vehicle that left the area.
OPP are asking anyone in the area to check surveillance, dash cams or door cams for footage that may help with this investigation.
