WHGH Auxilliary update

HAGERSVILLE—The West Haldimand General Hospital Auxiliary (WHGHA) met April 3, 2019 for their monthly meeting. Spring is a busy time for the Auxiliary with many fundraising activities planned. All proceeds from the events go to purchase capital equipment for the hospital.

Just recently, three blood pressure monitors and a locked supply cart were purchased. The proceeds from the Bingo at Six Nations was used for these purchases.

Volunteer week is April 7 to 13, during which an Appreciation Tea and Fair will be held in the cafeteria on Thursday, April 11 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

The Annual Silent Auction will be Thursday, April 18 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the front lobby at the hospital featuring cakes, cupcakes, butter tarts, and gifts, all in time for Easter. A special lunch will be served in the Coffee Shop featuring roast beef on a bun for $5 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 pm. A special Easter/Spring Basket draw will be on the same day. So keep April 18 open on your calendars and come over for some fun.
