RAINHAM—On Friday, February 17, 2023 a donation of $1,000 was presented to students at Rainham Central School from The Haldimand Classic Ford Truck Club (HCFTC).
The donation money was raised last July at the club’s annual events: The Fisherville Show & Shine and The Haldimand Ford & Mercury Truck Show. This was the first year since before COVID that the club was able to host the events. Both events were held for the first time at the Rainham Central School with the intention of donating the profits to the school.
HCFTC will once again be holding both events this coming July in the hopes of raising even more money for Rainham Central School students.
Saturday, July 8 they will host the Fisherville Show & Shine. This show is open to all makes, models, and years of cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, etc.
Sunday, July 9 they will host The Haldimand Ford & Mercury Truck Show. This show is open to all years of Ford & Mercury trucks, vans, Broncos, and SUVs, including Ranger based vehicles (RBVs includes Mazda trucks).
Both events run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be held on the Rainham Central School grounds.
If you wish to learn more about this event, volunteer your time, or make donation please text Melanie Steeves at 289-440-5156.
