$24,000 raised for local food banks

HAGERSVILLE—On Tuesday, February 25, 2020 the Wanda and Scott Memorial Foundation donated the funds raised by their November Black and White Gala to 12 different food banks across the community. The Foundation was started in 2011 by the family and friends of the Salverda family to, in the words of Crystal Van Groningh, “give back to the community who gave so much to us.”
