CALEDONIA—On Sunday, September 18, 2022 local residents gathered at La Fortune Park in honour of one of Canada’s greatest heroes, Terry Fox. Everyone was excited to be together again after the long stay indoors. Volunteers calculated over $3,600 in donations was raised for Terry’s foundation. This was Caledonia’s 30th annual event in honour of Terry’s campaign, which he was forced to stop on September 1, 1980. “The day Terry stopped, was the day we all started,” volunteer organizer, Lynaya Inkes told the crowd. Lynaya and her family have been volunteering for this event for more than seven years. It was a great local turn out and we are thankful to the community for coming together for this great cause.
