HAGERSVILLE—On Saturday, September 14, 2019 under beautiful, sunny, and windy conditions, 68 members of Hagersville Legion, Branch 164, played the annual Golf Tournament at Cayuga Golf Club.
The team of Justin Otterman, Scott Walton, Cary Slote and Rick Veri won honours as “Champion Golfers of the Year”, shooting 5 under par 28 on the tough back nine of the golf course.
The “Most Honest Golfers” this year were Jack Esselment, Patsy Esselment, Sophie Otterman, and Mel Gagnon.
Closest to the pin winners were Dianne Miller and Jim Woodruff.
A new event, “Closest to the Bag”, was won by Pip Martin and Tom Gravelle.
