The following were discussed at Council on Monday, September 23, 2019.
Additional parking approved on Townsend street
In response to concerns raised by the local councillor, staff have reviewed the existing parking conditions on Hawthorne Crescent in Townsend and are recommending that all year parking zones be established on the inside of the east and west legs of the street. This both increases the number of available parking spaces and improves visibility for vehicles accessing driveways along these roads.
Ward One Councillor Stewart Patterson said residents on the street had requested the change for safety concerns.
