CALEDONIA—The Riverside Exhibition Centre, the renovated facility formerly known as The Old Arena or Exhibition Hall on the Caledonia Fairgrounds, is nearing completion, but the fundraising effort to pay for the renovations continues.
The Caledonia Agricultural Society (Caledonia Fair), the charitable volunteer organization that owns and operates the fairgrounds and all buildings on it, is grateful for all the community support shown thus far. Thanks to Crystal Hill and the team at BMO (shown above), who recently pledged $20,000 in support.
“The support of business and community players like BMO,” says Caledonia Agricultural Society President Allan Hedley, “are what is going to help us reach our fundraising goals and finish this project. The building is nearing completion and will be available for the whole community to enjoy, but we’ve still got ground to cover in paying for it.”
