Intermediate volleyball boys teams compete

HALDIMAND—Haldimand Grand Erie District Schools had their annual Intermediate Boys Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, November 28, 2019.

There were 15 teams at the tournament representing 11 schools in Haldimand. The tournament began with three pools with five teams each and they played a round-robin-style format. From there, three divisions were created, beginning with the A division for the division winners and a wild card team. In the finals for Division A, River Heights faced a very good Oneida team and lost in straight sets 25-8 and 25-18. Both teams move on to the CAGE event that will be held in Dunnville on Wednesday, December 18.
