The Dunnville Mudcats lost their third game in a row on November 27, 2019 as they were swept away 9-1 by Glanbrook. The game began with three goals from Glanbrook. Ethan Garbutt managed to get Dunn-ville on the board in the second, but Glanbrook followed behind with another goal that period and five more in the third. Austin Davison made 32 saves in net.
Dunnville continued to struggle November 29 against Grimsby. Grimsby scored first. No goals were scored in the second. Noah Bourdon scored in the third period between two more goals by Grimsby. Davison made 23 saves in net in the 3-1 loss.
Dunnville’s November 30 game began with a goal from Port Dover. Matthew Fang scored before the first period ended, but it was followed by another from Port Dover. The second period started off shaky as Port Dover quickly extended their lead. Fang followed Port Dover’s goal with his second to bring them within one again. Port Dover quickly raced ahead with three more goals. Bourdon scored unassisted and shorthanded, yet this was quickly followed by another three goals from Port Dover through the second and third period. Mitch Harvey made 33 saves in net, ending the game with a 9-3 loss.
Next, Dunnville hosts Dundas on December 6 at 7:30 p.m. and then Grimsby on December 10 at 8:00 p.m.
