First indoor tournament takes place

HALDIMAND—Athletiques International Track and Field Club of Cayuga started off their indoor season rather quietly, as only five athletes found an opening in their schedules to take part in the 31st annual International Youth Meet of Champions at York University on December 7 and 8, 2019.

They didn’t set any world records, but they did manage to post a few Personal Records (PR).

Laura Kuszaj, 16, garnered two of them in the under-18 age group, with a 5:09.42 for the 1500m (5th place) and 2:24.43 for the 800m (6th).
