Hagersville’s weekend started off negatively with a 2-1 loss against Niagara on December 7, 2019. Hagersville’s Tycie Cowan was the first to score, though his goal was closely followed by Niagara’s first goal. Neither team could find the back of the net within the second period. Niagara scored the winning goal within the first few minutes of the last period. Avery Hartwick was in net, saving 27 of 29 shots.
Hagersville’s second game of the weekend, on December 8 against Hespeler, didn’t improve their weekend. Though the game went into overtime, neither team was able to score through the entire 67 minutes played, ending the game with a 0-0 tie. Jamie Ferguson was in net, saving all 42 shots on net.
Hagersville hosts Dundas on December 14 at 7:30 p.m. They then head to Niagara on December 19.
