HAGERSVILLE—Two local-area hospitals will be on the hunt for a new President and CEO in the new year as current head Kelly Isfan announced her resignation at a board of directors meeting on December 4, 2019.
Isfan will stay on as the President and CEO of both Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) and West Haldimand General Hospital (WHGH) until mid-March, at which time she will be starting a new position at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario.
Isfan leaves a legacy of accomplishments, including the implementing of shared leadership for the two hospitals, starting the journey of “High Reliability” for both hospitals, achieving accreditation with exemplary status at both hospitals, and leading an extraordinary and committed team of professionals.
“It has been a real pleasure. The time has gone by very fast,” Isfan told the board during their meeting. “We have built great teams who live our hospitals’ mission and values every day and I am very proud of what we have achieved together.”
