HAGERSVILLE—Haldimand OPP is appealing for witnesses following an assault on Main Street North in Hagersville.
On Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 12:20 a.m., OPP and Haldimand County paramedics responded to Main Street North for a report of two males who were striking parking signs with an alleged baseball bat.
It was further reported that a female victim was injured at this time as a result of being struck by the alleged baseball bat or a similar-type object.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
OPP were later updated that the victim required surgery due to their injuries.
