Haldimand Norfolk is not on the list of those allowed to enter Stage 3 – yet – as it is among 10 regions that entered Stage 2 late and are therefore being held back again. However, these regions are generally expected to be given the go-ahead soon.
With 24 of 34 health districts in the province moving on to Stage 3 this Friday, residents are encouraged to continue taking precautions, such as frequent hand washing, maintaining social distance, and wearing a mask when distancing is difficult or impossible.
The issue of wearing masks has been greatly debated. In last week’s Haldimand Press we spoke with the local council on their views regarding masks, and now we want to hear from you, the public! Do you believe masks should be mandatory in indoor public spaces?
Click below to cast your vote! Voting closed on July 20, and results will be disclosed in the July 23 Haldimand Press.
