Admin building ribbon cutting delayed

CAYUGA—The official ribbon cutting for the new Haldimand County Administration Building has been postponed due to the lwered gathering limit provincially, but had the event proceeded it would have been a celebration of the building’s functionality.

“I believe that the building captures the essence of Haldimand County. It is very functional and will serve the residents of Haldimand for many years to come,” said Mayor Ken Hewitt. “It was in development for about three years from the public consultation meetings to the finished product. It has met my expectations and bringing all of staff under one roof will help us achieve more success in delivering quality service.”
