Don’t veer for deer: OPP reminds motorists to be alert and react safely

HALDIMAND—Haldimand OPP is reminding all motorists to use caution, be more alert, and react safely as collisions with wildlife, particularly deer, has increased over the past several weeks.

Every fall, OPP respond to many collisions where a vehicle has struck a deer, with nearly half of the total collisions occurring between October and January.
