DUNNVILLE—For most patients who come to Haldimand War Memorial Hospital (HWMH), the first person they engage with is Cheryl Schweyer.
As the hospital’s admitting clerk, it’s her responsibility to maintain proper patient flow throughout the hospital. She is responsible for the registration of all booked clinics, surgical procedures, and any booked procedures. She also accepts payments for uninsured services such as ambulance and all in-patient and out-patient billings.
