Three Port Maitland roads to see speed limit reduced to 30km/hr following petition

PORT MAITLAND—In an effort to address the safety concerns related to the increased popularity of the Port Maitland pier, Council voted last week to reduce the speed on three roads in the direct vicinity of the tourist destination following a petition signed by 42 area residents and presented to Council by Ward 5 Councillor Rob Shirton.

The following areas will see a reduction in speed from 50km/h to 30km/h:
