HALDIMAND—Haldimand County is supporting a request for information being submitted by the Niagara Parks Conservation Authority (NPCA) that, if successful, could see 10,000 new trees planted across the county over the next 10 years.
The request is being sent as a response to the federal government’s Two Billion Trees initiative, and it’s new Growing Canada’s Forests program, which will provide substantial funding to successful applicants.
