TURKEY POINT—On June 19, 2021 around noon the Norfolk County Fire Department and Paramedic Services responded to an injured biker on a recreational trail outside of Turkey Point.
The only information the caller gave dispatch is “they are at the bottom of a hill, on a trail (unknown name) about 1km in from the road.” As you may know, the Turkey Point area has extensive biking trails which intersect many roads. Norfolk County emergency services receives many calls similar to this each year where someone is sick or injured on our trail systems and cannot provide clear directions.
