HALDIMAND—Summer time has arrived, and with it comes all the fun outdoor activities that people crave during the colder months of the year. While fun-in-the-sun is never a bad idea, it’s important to be careful and watch for ticks as they also love the warm weather and are much more prevalent during summer months.
Haldimand has two types of ticks that are most commonly found throughout the county. These are the dog tick, also known as the wood tick, and the deer tick.
