HALDIMAND—The Regional Cancer Program at Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS), which oversees the quality and delivery of cancer services for an area including Haldimand, has observed a significant decrease in cancer screening tests over the last year and a half – including mammograms. Experts believe this drop has led to a more concerning statistic – an increase in undiagnosed and untreated breast cancer cases in the region.
