
To the Editors,
Seeing the picture of the printing press (Page 1, October 28) brought back memories. I was employed by Mr. Gordon Hall in 1946. His oldest son, Ted, taught me how to run this press. After the first few copies were printed, the staff and I had to proofread it line by line to check for spelling errors. If any, they were corrected, and we proceeded to run off the required number of issues. Fond memories.
