CALEDONIA—The Caledonia Lions Club has three new members looking to put their youthful energy and commitment to their community to good use.
For 23-year-old Curtis Ryan, joining up was simply a matter of carrying on the family tradition.
“My grandfather (Guy Ryan) is a lifetime member with the Lions in Caledonia and has been a part of the club since before I was born. My uncle (Robin) is also a Lion and my father was a Lion,” said Ryan, who accumulated volunteer hours throughout elementary and high school by volunteering for the club. “I joined the Lions to help and give back to the community that raised me and carry on the traditions of the Lions Club through future generations.”
