DUNNVILLE—Irene Bowden of Dunnville has been recognized in this year’s CBC Short Story contest, a competition which sees writers nationwide submitting their work for a chance at $6,000, the work being published by CBC Books, and a two-week writing residency.
Bowden was one of only 36 writers named to the long list for her story ‘Wildflowers and a red ribbon’. The short list is set to be revealed on April 21.
