DUNNVILLE— On May 2, 2022 at 12:36 p.m., Haldimand OPP responded to a report of a break and enter to a turbine site located on Wainfleet Dunnville Townline Road.
Unknown person(s) entered the compound and stole a large quantity of copper wire from an electrical sub-station. It was reported that this was the second incident in which copper had been stolen from this location. The first theft took place between April 21, 2022 and April 28, 2022 with the most recent theft happening sometime between April 28, 2022 and May 2, 2022.
The Forensic Identification Unit attended the scene for evidence collection.
