To the Editors,
The September 29 Empire Homes article refers to the land in Nanticoke purchased by Empire as “unused industrial lands.”
I believe this phrase is rather misleading. The land in question might not be being use for industrial purposes, but it is being farmed.
It is not unused land. It is industrial land that is being farmed.
With food security being a common topic, farmland should be held in higher regard.
