DUNNVILLE—Investigators with the Haldimand OPP are seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle believed to have been involved in a fail-to-remain collision in Dunnville.
On February 17, 2023 at approximately 8:05 p.m., police responded to a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle on Broad Street East, east of Chestnut Street in Dunnville. The driver left the scene of the collision. The road was closed in the vicinity of the collision to facilitate the investigation.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital in Hamilton with life-threatening injuries. As of February 21, OPP reported that the victim remained in hospital. Police are seeking a small, white sport utility vehicle with possible passenger-side damage in connection with the incident.
