DUNNVILLE—Last week two schools donated money from fundraisers they held for the Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation (DHHF). Thompson Creek Elementary School raised $800. Their Student Council (left) said, “Student Council would like to thank everyone who helped support our fundraiser for the Dunnville Hospital. We sold 1,000 Smencils and over 80 moustaches to make this happen! Thank you again Timberwolves!” Attercliffe Canadian Reformed Elementary School raised $645 (above), and Principal Clarence Blokhuis said, “Hats off to all the staff at Dunnville hospital! We are thankful for your work and are happy to be part of this fundraising effort to support the work you do!” Danielle Ormonde, Signature Events & Social Media Coordinator for DHHF, said, “It is heartwarming to see the children in our community fundraise for the Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation. We are encouraged by their support to help raise these funds for highest priority medical equipment at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital and Edgewater Gardens, and this could not be possible without our entire community behind us.” —Submitted photos.
