Peacefully at Anson Place, Hagersville surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in her 87th year. Wife of the late Gordon Mitchell (2019). Loving mother of Linda (Ross) Morgan, Chris (Lloyd) Betar and Beth (Ron) Berg. Cherished grandmother of Travis, Robert (Jenny), Aaron (Margarita) and Beau. Great grandmother of Taylor, Mitchell, Mae, Alison, Rebecca, Phillip, Steven and Christopher. Sister of Brian (Marcia), Kay Edwards, and Peggy (Neil) Pankhurst. Sister-in-law of Elgin Mitchell, Helen Dosser, Sandra Smelser and Elspeth Smelser. Predeceased by brothers Doug, Ron, Don, Fred and Leroy. Audrey spent most of her life farming, was involved in Knox Presbyterian Church (now Jarvis Community Church) for many years, she loved baking and making pies, catering, Bazaar’s and was a member of the Haldimand Quilters Guild as a Lifetime Member. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8pm. Funeral service for Audrey will be held at Jarvis Community Church (former Wesley United Church) on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 1pm. Interment Knox Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Jarvis. Donations in memory of Audrey to the Knox Presbyterian Church or West Haldimand General Hospital and Healthcare Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
