The 4-H Cloverbuds met in September to make handcrafted cards. Vickie Peart was our guest speaker. Vickie covered a few elements of design, explained the difference between portrait and landscape positioning, and talked about some of the special people and special moments that could be celebrated with a handcrafted card. The members created two cards, one of which is to be sent to someone special in their life. They will report on this at our next meeting during roll call. While half the group worked on their cards, the rest of the group helped with the display board for Caledonia Fair and updated their journals. This is what a couple of our members had to say about the meeting: “Tonight was fun for us. We learned how to make a different type of cards and updated our journals.
