Peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on November 2, 2023, at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Dorothy Fairburn of Hamilton and his beloved wife Catherine of almost 50 years. Loving father of Janice (Chris) and Ronald (Tammy). Dear grandpa of Jaime, Jake, Cameron and Cody. Cherished brother of Robert(Cheryl). Barry was a lifelong member of King St Baptist Church and Zion United Church until their closures and then joined Hagersville United Church. Barry was a retiree of Stelco and an avid railroad enthusiast. Special thanks to Dr Mitchell, Dr. Phillips, Dr Randazzo, Dr K and the caring staff and support workers at West Haldimand General Hospital, Norfolk General Hospital and AbleLiving Hagersville who made his last few months enjoyable. Funeral Service will be held at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Monday November 13, 2023 at 1 p.m., (visitation 1 hour before service). Interment at Hagersville Cemetery.
