Peacefully at Grandview Lodge, Dunnville on Friday, December 1, 2023. May Passmore (nee Buck), wife of the late Dick Passmore (2015), in her 96th year. Beloved mother of Sandra Passmore, Audrey Nie, Edgar (Doreen), Cindy (Dave) Everets, and Dick (Lisa). Loving grandmother of several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren. May will be fondly remembered by her dear friends Virginia and Frank. Sister of Buelah †, Eileen †, Marie †, George †, Johnny † and survived by her brother in-law Bill May is predeceased by grandson Caleb. May loved her family and their happiness warmed her heart. May was a longtime member of Rebekah Lodge #84 of Welland. A special thank you to the staff at Grandview Lodge for the compassionate care that mom received during her years with them. Friends were invited to visit the family at BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, 315 Broad Street East, Dunnville on Tuesday December 5, 2023 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The funeral service for May was held at Canboro Community Centre, 7 Darling Street, Dunnville on Wednesday December 6, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment Melick Cemetery, Canboro. In memory of May, donations to the Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation, or KINnections Life Centre, Dunnville, would be sincerely appreciated by her family.
