Passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2023 at Norfolk General Hospital in his 86th year. Cherished and loving husband of Laurraine. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Sandra (Chuck), Ray (Annamarie) and Ron (Pat). Loving grandfather of Marion, Kaitlyn (Marc), Brodie (Melisa), Nolan, Ryan (Breanna), Curtis and Adam and great grandfather of Meredith, Clovianne, Kennedy, Carson and Harper. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bernice Mulholland of Kitchener and Donald (Fly) Macaulay of Port Dover. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, William and Mabel Chambers and sisters Lois Chambers, Verna Lindsay, Doris Macaulay, Doreen Armstrong and Ilene Doherty and brother Max Chambers as well as brothers-in-law John Lindsay, Reg Armstrong, Doug Mulholland and Ben Doherty. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Mark Miller and all the kind staff on the fourth floor of Norfolk General Hospital. As per Allan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.
