The family of the late Marlene Touesnard would like to express thanks to family and friends for all the love shown to us in the past several weeks. No words can express the gratitude that we felt for the love shown through prayers, food drop-offs, flowers, cards, phone calls, house visits, hospital visits, social media messages, hugs and donations made in memory of Marlene. To everywho who came to the funeral home visitation or Celebration of Life, we are so grateful for your love and support. Thank you to Dr. Randazzo and CBI Health for their care prior to Marlene’s hospitalization. Thanks to Haldimand EMS and the E.R. staff for their care on Christmas Eve. Special thanks to Dr. Yar and the incredible staff of the 3rd Floor Inpatient Unit for their exceptional care. We are beyond grateful for the hard work Pastor Peggy Bartlett did in a very short time to make Marlene’s Celebration of Life very meaningful. Thank you Pastor Peggy for your valued friendship with Marlene, your visits to the house and hospital, the prayers and the hugs you provided. Thank you to John and the choir for playing and singing one of Marlene’s favorite hymns. And the beautiful hymn sung by Peggy, Dale and Cheryl; also another favourite hymn. Marlene would’ve loved this service so much. Dale and the many volunteers of the Hagersville United Church who prepared a delicious lunch, deserve a special recognition for their hardwork. Special thanks to Bill Lofthouse and staff from Hyde & Mott for their exceptional compassion and guidance shown to us. Finally a huge thank you to the pallbearers who Marlene loved so much; Sean Cook, Sean Arnold, Justin McBride, Tyler McBride, Ryan LeBlanc and Stephen Baxter. The family would like to thank the community as a whole. It is such a privilege living where love is plentiful.
