Peacefully at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Beloved husband for 66 years of Elisabeth (Bep) Hanenberg. Loving father of Jack (Thommy) Hanenberg, Siska (John DeJong), Els (Ko Vos), Irene Hanenberg and Yolanda Hanenberg. Grandfather of Robert (Stephanie), Michael, Mark (Agnes), Amanda, Kevin (Jessica) and Welly and great grandfather of Kyra, Jacob, Claire and Andi. Friends were invited to call at MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 28 Caithness Street East, Caledonia on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 6 – 8 p.m. The funeral service for John was held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 33 King Avenue, York on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. Interment and graveside service at St. John’s Cemetery, York followed the service.
