Peacefully, surrounded by family, at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in his 85th year. Ward Glenney, beloved husband of Lois (nee Lint) for 63 years. Loving father of Mark (Donna) and Dave (Kim). Proud grandfather of Jessica (Allan) Houwer, Jennifer (Sawyer) Stone, Nolan (Kirsten) Bacher, Meghan (Drew) Taylor, Brandon (Jennifer) and Justine (Carter) Rock, Chelsea Hessels, Brittany (Dustin) Jansema and Travis Hessels and great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Aubree, Peyton, Renee, Denver, Dawson, Bryce, Joshua and Rebecca. Brother and brother-in-law of Dean (Vonita) Glenney, Becky Glenney, Ralph (Joan) Corlis, Barry (Karen) Cruickshanks. Predeceased by his grandson Braden Bacher, his sister Carolyn Baird, brother Robert Glenney, sisters-in-law Evelyn Corlis and Grace Cruickshanks. Also survived by his cousin Gerrie (Dave Mallory and the late Charles Vaivil) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 28 Caithness Street East, Caledonia on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. A private family service will be held followed by interment at Riverside Cemetery, Cayuga.
