Peacefully at Macassa Lodge in Hamilton on Saturday, August 17, 2024, in her 104th year, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by sons Donald (Annie), Douglas (Barb), grandchildren Tracy (Adrian), Bradley (Lindy), and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mary lived a very full life caring for her family and was an active member of her church. She loved to travel with her husband (late Gordon Gilbart) and their various dogs. The family would like to thank all the wonderful, caring staff at Macassa Lodge, where Mary resided for the past 7 years. We are forever grateful for the enrichment they all provided in Mary’s convalescence. A grave side memorial and celebration of life will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Waterford, Thompson Rd.
