Peacefully with his partner Jennifer by his side at the Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Survived by his mom Jane and predeceased by his father Earl McConachie. Jim is survived by his partner Jennifer. Loving dad to Laura and Beta and Erica and Phil. Cherished grandfather to Kae, Felix, Brianna, and Elizabeth. Survived by his sister Marty (Terry) Dosser and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Barb and Mark. Jim loved watching his grandchildren’s sports and musical activities, Jim loved kayaking, skiing, horses, quartet singing, and directing choruses. He had a love for good food and wine. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2025, from 1 – 4 p.m. in the upstairs hall of Branch #60 of the Royal Canadian Legion, 828 Legion Road, Burlington, Ontario.
